Previous meetings

  • PEACE is the result of an initial meeting in Medellín, Colombia, in November 2016. This meeting had two parts, a one-day simposyum and a week-long workshop. Information about this first meeting can be found in this link.

  • First ideas about the initiative were presented at the International Congress for Conservation Biology

  • A second meeting of the group took place in Bogotá Colombia, in November 2017. This meeting was organized by the Alexander von Humboldt Institute.

  • Integration of earth observations for biodiversity decision making in Colombia. Bogotá, July 18th-19th, 2018. Organized by Temple University and the Alexander von Humboldt Institute.
